By accessing or using this website (www.jaquellchandler.com) or booking services through Jaquell Chandler Photo & Video, you agree to the following terms.
1. Ownership & Intellectual Property
All photographs, videos, text, and visual content on this website are the sole property of Jaquell Chandler Photo & Video unless otherwise noted. You may not copy, download, screenshot, reproduce, distribute, modify, or sell any content without express written permission.
Unauthorized use of our images, branding, or video work—including reposting, altering, or reselling content—is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.
2. Usage Rights & Licensing
All content created by Jaquell Chandler (photos, videos, etc.) remains the intellectual property of the creator, unless otherwise stated in a signed agreement.
Clients are granted limited usage rights for personal, professional, or commercial use depending on the package or service agreed upon. Full ownership or licensing rights can be negotiated but must be clearly outlined in writing.
3. Booking, Payment & Cancellation Policy
To secure a session or project date, a 50% non-refundable retainer is required at the time of booking. Remaining balances are due by the agreed-upon date listed in your invoice or contract.
Additional Payment Terms:
Late Fee: A 10% late fee applies to overdue balances not received within 7 days of the due date.
Rescheduling: Clients may reschedule sessions with at least 14 days’ notice. Rescheduled sessions must occur within 60 days of the original date.
Cancellation: All cancellations result in forfeiture of funds paid. If any work has been completed at the time of cancellation, and the value of work exceeds the paid amount, the remaining balance is due immediately.
Rush fees, grace periods, and other service-specific details will be outlined in individual service agreements or contracts.
Pop-Up Sessions
Pop-up sessions are limited-time, promotional offerings that operate under separate terms from full-length sessions. Payment is due in full at the time of booking or split between a non-refundable deposit and a final payment due on the day of the shoot. These sessions are non-refundable and non-transferable unless rescheduling is requested at least 48 hours in advance. Due to the limited nature of pop-up sessions, specific time slots are final and cannot be extended. Deliverables and turnaround time for pop-up sessions will be clearly outlined in the booking confirmation.
4. Turnaround & Deliverables
Typical delivery timelines:
Photos: 10–14 business days after the session
Videos: 14–21 business days after filming
Exact timelines will be confirmed per project. Delivery is handled via secure platforms such as Pic-Time or YouTube when applicable.
5. Respecting Creative Work
Clients and viewers may not edit, filter, or alter any image or video content without written permission. Do not tag or credit Jaquell Chandler in modified content that misrepresents the original work.
Third-party use (including brand partners, collaborators, or other vendors) must be discussed in advance and approved in writing.
6. Client Conduct
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who engages in abusive, harassing, or disrespectful behavior toward Jaquell Chandler or anyone representing his brand.
7. Testimonials, Reviews & Public Content
By providing a testimonial or review, you grant permission for your words (and, where applicable, photos or videos) to be shared publicly on our website or social media. You may request removal at any time.
8. Changes to These Terms
These terms may be updated at any time without notice. Continued use of this website or services constitutes acceptance of the latest version.
9. Governing Law
All terms, agreements, and services are governed under the laws of the State of New York. Any legal matters will be handled within the jurisdiction of Albany, NY.
