I'll follow up with a few quick questions — what you're shooting, how you plan to use the images, your timeline, and your location. This is how I build a quote that actually fits your project, not a generic number pulled from thin air.

Proposal

You get a clear proposal

I'll send you a detailed proposal through HoneyBook — your service details, investment breakdown, and contract, all in one place. Everything is spelled out before you sign anything. A 50% deposit holds your date.

Your date isn't locked until the deposit is in. Don't wait too long.

Shoot day

We show up and make something real

You'll get a prep guide before the day so you're not guessing what to wear, where to go, or what to expect. On set, my job is to make you feel comfortable and direct us toward the best possible images — you just be yourself.

Remaining balance is due on or before shoot day.

Delivery

Your gallery arrives

Edited, retouched, and delivered through a private online gallery within the agreed timeline. You'll get high-resolution files and web-optimized versions. Gallery access stays open for 90 days — download everything before it expires.

Commercial clients: final delivery follows your selection submission.

Good things to know
No. Weddings are a full specialty — they deserve a photographer who lives and breathes that world. My focus is brand and portrait work, commercial photography, and events that aren't weddings. If you need a wedding photographer, I'm happy to point you toward someone great.
Portrait pricing covers personal use — your family photos, personal headshots, engagement sessions. Commercial pricing covers business use — when a company writes the check, or when the images are going to work for a brand. If your photos are going on a company website, in ads, or as part of a marketing campaign, that's commercial. The distinction matters because commercial images do a different kind of work, and the pricing reflects that.
Yes. Travel within the Albany metro area is included in all sessions. Shoots outside the area — NYC, NJ, or beyond — are scoped individually and a travel fee is added to your quote. Ask and we'll figure it out.
That depends on your license. Every commercial project includes organic/owned channel use by default — your website, organic social, email, internal materials. Paid advertising (boosted posts, display ads, print campaigns) requires a separate usage license, which is quoted based on placement, territory, and term. If you know you'll be running ads, tell me upfront and we'll build it into your quote from the start.
RAW files aren't included in any standard package — they're working files, not deliverables. What you get are fully edited, retouched, high-resolution JPEGs. If you have a specific reason you need RAWs, it can be discussed before the shoot. It's a separate add-on, not something tacked on after the fact.
Life happens. Reschedules with 72+ hours notice are no cost. Under 72 hours, a rebooking fee applies. Weather reschedules for outdoor sessions are handled case by case. Full details are in your service agreement.
Portrait and event galleries are typically delivered within 10 business days of the shoot. Commercial projects have delivery timelines defined in the contract — usually 1–2 weeks from final selects. Your exact turnaround will be spelled out in your proposal.
